GOOD NEWS! Westville Cracking Down on Unregistered MV's, Releases January Crime, Fire, and Code Reports

WEC William E. Cleary Sr. | CNBNews For some time now the borough of Westville has been strictly enforcing its Housing Code ordinance pertaining to unregistered/abandoned motor vehicles. The borough has also been citing people who leave their trash cans on the curb after trash has been picked up. We long have been advocates for citing homeowners/landlords who have unlicensed, unregistered vehicles stored on their properties. They are unsightly and are safety hazards. They are also detrimental to the neighborhood where they are located and depreciate the value of properties in those neighborhoods. We commend the Westville police and borough officials for their diligence. Hopefully, other communities nearby will also enforce their codes pertaining to this issue and do the same. We also appreciate that this information is being shared with the public. Keeping the people informed is one more way of letting taxpayers know that those people they employ... Read more →

Frank H Hofmann, 93, of Runnemede and Collingswood

May 31, 1926 ~ May 3, 2020 (age 93) Improvement makes straight roads. But, the crooked roads without improvement are the roads of genius. Doing easily what others find difficult is talent. Frank was knowledgeable and handy with impeccable mathematical skills. He loved his family, his football and good clean fun. If we can take advice from the ocean; be shore of yourself, come out of your shell, take time to coast, avoid pier pressure, see life's beauty and don't let the tide down. However, seeing death as the end of life is as seeing the horizon as the end of the... Read more →
