Daniel J. Sullivan, III, 68, of Clayton

On June 7, 2025, Daniel passed suddenly at the age of 68. Of Clayton. Survived by his children, Daniel J. Sullivan, IV (Shanna), Kevin M. Sullivan (Jessica) and Kristen M. MacIntosh (Michael); grandchildren, Torri L. Bell (Jarred), Daniel J. Sullivan, V (Tyla), Gabrial Bolen-Sullivan and Sawyer Sullivan; a great-grandchild, Addy Mae Sullivan; A sister Margaret Sullivan Sorbello (Joseph) and many loving nieces and nephews. Rowan's Nick Struble Named to Philadelphia Academic All-Area Baseball Team

PHILADELPHIA - Nick Struble (Hackettstown, NJ/Hackettstown) of Rowan has been chosen to the 2025 Philly-SIDA Academic All-Area Baseball Team, joining 11 other student-athletes in the team that was selected through voting conducted by the sports information offices of 30 institutions in the Philadelphia metropolitan area. The junior finance major batted .400 in 40 games played, while making 31 starts. The designated hitter/first baseman put up career-best numbers of 33 runs, 46 hits and three home runs, while posting eight doubles. Among Struble's highlights of the season were a three-run home run in a win over Stockton and a 4-for-8 effort with three RBI and a double in a sweep of Ramapo. A three-time Rowan Scholar-Athlete of Distinction, Struble was inducted into the Chi Alpha Sigma National Student-Athlete Honor Society for 2024-25. Marion Hainsworth of Audubon Park, NJ passed away on June 7, 2025 at the age of 85. Beloved mother of the late Harry Hainsworth and the late Joseph Hainsworth. Loving grandmother of Angela (Eric) Perysian and great grandmother of Angel, Eric and Evalyn Perysian. Dear sister of Carole (the late Joe) Cannaday, Marsha (Jim) Ayers and the late Mark (Barbara) Hagborg. Mosquito spraying throughout Camden County Friday

(Lindenwold, NJ) – Early Friday morning the Mosquito Control Commission will be in the community spraying and surveilling areas throughout Camden County. Suspect for Commercial Robbery in the 15th District

On Sunday, June 8, 2025, at 4:43 p.m., officers from the Philadelphia Police 15th District responded to a report of a robbery in progress on the 6400 block of Harbison Avenue. At approximately 2:11 p.m., a suspect impersonating law enforcement entered the business and zip-tied the victim. The offender stole around $1,000 in U.S. currency and fled the scene in a white Ford E-250, heading northbound on Harbison Avenue towards Roosevelt Boulevard. The scene has been secured, and no arrests have been made at this time. The investigation is currently active and ongoing with the Northeast Detectives. Kathryn L. Mitchell, 67, of Barrington

Kathryn (Kathy) Loughery Mitchell, 67, of Barrington, NJ, passed away at her home on June 8, 2025. Kathy was born in Philadelphia, PA, the daughter of James and Emily (Stopyra) Loughery and grew up in Stratford, NJ with her four siblings Jane, Joanne, James and Karol. She graduated Sterling High School in 1976 and married her high school sweetheart, John Vincent Mitchell in 1978. Since 1985, Kathy and John have been longtime residents of Barrington where they raised their three children, John David, Marisa and Matthew. Kathy enjoyed planting tomatoes in her garden, tending to her houseplants, relaxing in her pool and interacting with customers when she worked at Carmen’s Deli in Bellmawr. Rowan Wins NJAC Cup for 5th Consecutive Year and 7th Time Overall

PRINCETON, NJ - For the fifth consecutive year, Rowan University Athletics is the recipient of the NJAC Cup, earning the conference's award that represents overall success for an institution's athletic program during the year of conference competition. The 2024-25 win is also Rowan's seventh in the eight years the award. Maryland Spring Turkey Hunters Harvest 4,851 Birds

Maryland hunters harvested a total of 4,851 wild turkeys during the 2025 spring regular and junior turkey seasons. While this year’s harvest was slightly lower than the 2024 season total of 4,959, it remained well above the 10-year average of 4,350. “Maryland’s spring turkey hunters benefitted from favorable weather and healthy turkey populations again this year,” Maryland Department of Natural Resources (DNR) Wildlife and Heritage Service Director Karina Stonesifer said. “Harvest numbers remained high in most areas, demonstrating the resiliency of this great game bird.” Recent DNR surveys have documented average to above-average reproductive success in three of the last four summers, contributing to stable or growing turkey populations in many areas. EASTLAKE, OHIO - Rowan continued its run in the 2025 NCAA Division III World Series with a 6-1 win over #4 Denison as freshman Austin Kreyenhagen went the distance and the Profs' bats came through again. Gloucester Township Couple Charged for Confining and Abusing Child for Years

Gloucester Township, NJ – A Gloucester Township man and woman have been arrested and charged for confining and abusing a child who lived in their home for several years, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Gloucester Township Police Chief David Harkins. Murder / Suicide – Tranquility Court, Washington Township, New Jersey

On Sunday, May 11, 2025, at approximately 2:03 a.m., the Washington Township Police and Fire Departments responded to reports of a house fire and possible explosion at 13 Tranquility Court in Sewell, New Jersey. Upon arrival, first responders found the residence fully engulfed in flames. The Washington Township Fire Department, with assistance from neighboring fire departments, was able to bring the fire under control and extinguish it. During a search of the home, investigators discovered the bodies of two deceased individuals inside. A male, believed to be the tenant of the residence, was located in the living room with a handgun found near the body. His identity is pending official confirmation. GTPD Media Release- GTPD Investigate Serious Two-Vehicle Crash 5-12-2025

In the early hours of Monday, May 12, 2025, at approximately 12:26 AM, the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to a serious motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Blackwood Clementon Road and Peters Lane. Upon arrival, officers discovered both vehicles with significant damage resulting from the collision. Each vehicle was occupied by a single driver, and both drivers sustained injuries due to the impact. Emergency medical assistance was promptly provided by first responders from the Gloucester Township Police Department, Pine Hill Police Department, Inspira Basic Life Support, Virtua Paramedics, and the Blenheim Fire Company (Station 83). $161M in Upgrades to Transform Camden County Roads

Camden County is making historic investments in its infrastructure. The board of commissioners announced May 8 the kickoff of a $161 million program aimed at fixing county roads, bridges, stormwater drainage and more over the next two years. That investment includes more than $81 million in improvements set for this year (with several major projects underway) – and more than $80 million of projects that will break ground in 2026. Passed away on May 7, 2025, at the age of 42. Of Gloucester City. Nicole was the loving mother of, Colin Stinsman (Ava) and Carter Stinsman; cherished daughter of Denise Gabriel.
