TRAFFIC ALERT: Road Closures to Affect Traffic

Istockphoto-1183581672-2048x2048Crews will be working on Market Street in Gloucester City from Monday, June 23 to Wednesday, June 25 between 7 a.m. and 5 p.m. There will be a full road closure between South Sussex and North 5th streets.

NJ American Water will be working on North Haddon Avenue in Haddonfield from Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. There will be a full road closure from Kings Highway East to Euclid Avenue.

PSE&G will be working on East Park Avenue in Merchantville from Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure between Center Street and East Chestnut Avenue.

Crews will be working on Park Boulevard in Cherry Hill from Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure between Grove Street and Kings Highway.

Crews will be working on Jackson Road in Waterford from Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27, from 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Hopewell and Atsion roads.

South Jersey Gas will be working on South Burnt Mill Road and White Horse Road in Voorhees from Monday, June 23 to Friday, June 27 between 8 p.m. and 6 a.m. There will be a full road closure on South Burnt Mill Road between Somerdale and White Horse roads and a partial road closure westbound on White Horse Road between South Burnt Mill Road and Lucas Lane.

“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”

The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway, 50 bridges and several dams. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
