Road Construction/Closures to Affect Traffic

South Jersey Gas will be working on Berlin Cross Keys Road in Berlin Borough, Winslow Township and Pine Hill from Monday, June 9 to Tuesday, June 10 from 7 p.m. to 5 a.m. There will be a partial road closure southbound between Watsontown-New Freedom Road and Oakland Avenue.
Crews will be working on Market Street and Kaighn Avenue on Monday, June 9, Tuesday, June 10 and Thursday, June 12 from 7 a.m. to 5 p.m. On Monday and Tuesday, there will be a partial road closure westbound on Market Street at the intersection with 10th Street. On Thursday, there will be a partial road closure westbound on Kaighn Avenue at the intersection with South Front Street.
Crews will be working on Coles Mill Road in Haddonfield from Monday, June 9 to Friday, June 13 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Utica Avenue, Farwood Road and Grove Street.
Crews will be working on White Horse Avenue in Clementon on Monday, June 9 to Friday, June 13 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Gibbsboro and Berlin-Clementon roads.
Crews will be working on Kings Highway from Monday, June 9 to Friday, June 13 from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. From Monday to Thursday, there will be a partial road closure between Market Street and Black Horse Pike and from Monday to Friday there will be a 24/7 detour between 3rd and 1st avenues from West Atlantic Avenue to Hopkins Road. The closure is due to the ongoing Kings Highway improvement project that broke ground last fall.
PSE&G will be working on Prospect Ridge Boulevard in Haddon Heights on Monday, June 9 from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a partial road closure westbound between Bellmawr Avenue and Lake Street.
Crews will be working on 3rd Avenue in Barrington on Tuesday, June 10 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure westbound between Austin and Albany avenues.
Crews will be working on Westfield Avenue in Pennsauken on Tuesday, June 10 from 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a full road closure between DeRousse Avenue and Crescent Boulevard.
PSE&G will be working on East Park Avenue in Merchantville from Tuesday, June 10 to Friday, June 13 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a partial road closure between Center Street and East Chestnut Avenue.
“Motorists should plan ahead to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when you’re traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
The Camden County Department of Public Works is responsible for maintaining over 1,200 miles of county roadway, 50 bridges and several dams. They are dedicated to making our area safer for motorists and pedestrians through county highway construction projects and road maintenance, including pothole repairs, street sweeping, grass cutting and storm drainage upkeep. The Public Works Department is located in Lindenwold where personnel are on call 24 hours a day, 7 days a week to serve the residents of Camden County.
