Wanted: Suspect for Residential Burglary in the 17th District [VIDEO]

Philadelphia PD Crime Report

As of this morning, Phila police the Philadelphia Police Department is actively investigating several overnight incidents that occurred across the city. All information remains preliminary and may be updated as new details become available. Additional incident reports will be shared as they are received throughout the day.
 
At approximately 1:31 a.m. on June 5, 2025, officers from the 25th District responded to Temple University Hospital for a report of a walk-in gunshot victim. The victim, a 22-year-old male, arrived via private vehicle and was found to be suffering from a gunshot wound to the right leg. The trajectory of the injury extended from his thigh to his foot. He was listed in stable condition. The victim told officers he was shot on the 2300 block of Lambert Street while on the highway, but was unable to provide any further information. No arrests have been made at this time, and the Shooting Investigation Group (SIG) is actively investigating.
 
Earlier, at approximately 12:19 a.m., officers from the 24th District were alerted to a stabbing incident after a male victim walked into Episcopal Hospital. The victim reported being stabbed on the highway in the 2700 block of C Street. At this time, no crime scene has been located, no arrest has been made, and the investigation is ongoing with East Detectives.
 
At approximately 9:30 p.m. on Friday, May 31, police responded to a radio call for an abduction in progress at Germantown and Erie Avenues. Upon arrival, officers learned that a white 2010 Ford Taurus had been left running with the keys in the ignition, and a 12-year-old was sleeping in the backseat when an unknown individual stole the vehicle and fled.
 
At approximately 9:53 p.m., officers located a juvenile female matching the description of the victim at Broad Street and Roosevelt Boulevard. The 12-year-old had been sexually assaulted.
 
The victim was transported by police to a local hospital for evaluation.
 
Police are currently seeking an unknown Black male with a thin build, wearing all dark clothing, in connection with this incident. 
 
June 4 at approximately 9:30 a.m., officers from the 24th District responded to a shooting in the 3000 block of Kensington Avenue. An adult male was found suffering from multiple gunshot wounds to his body. He was transported by medics to Temple University Hospital, where he was placed in critical condition.
 
At this time, no arrests have been made and no motive has been identified. The investigation is ongoing and being led by the Shooting Investigation Group (SIG). Anyone with information is urged to contact SIG at 215-686-8270, call 911, or submit an anonymous tip by calling 215-686-TIPS.
