Local 10 Year Old Unveils LEGO Creation to Vie for First-Ever Global Title

Philadelphia’s 2025 Mini Master Model Builder, Nicky Papa, unveiled their amazing LEGO® build to vie for the first-ever title of Global Mini Master Model Builder! His sports themed LEGO creation was revealed at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia and will be on display for guests to see through June 30^th at the Center.

The LEGO build will then have the amazing honor to be displayed at the one and only Home of the Brick, LEGO® House, in Billund, Denmark later this year. Nicky’s LEGO creation will be judged against other builds from Mini Master Model Builders across the globe from all twenty-seven LEGOLAND Discovery Centers and LEGO Discovery Centers, operated by Merlin Entertainments. The global winner will be announced this fall.

In addition to an epic LEGO build being unveiled, a new event is also being revealed at LEGOLAND Discovery Center Philadelphia today, June 5^th! The LEGO Summer of Play event, which will run from June 5 to Aug 3 and include new activities to help kids discover their unique Play Mode – whether they love to create, discover, build, dance or simply play their way.

Families can join a workshop to learn how to create a LEGO bee and design a playful city with the Master Model Builder where their imaginations can run wild. Kids of all ages can boogie to the DJ GoodVibes dance party and then have fun spotting surprise LEGO creations in MINILAND which has Philadelphia’s cityscape created out of more than 1.5 million LEGO bricks.
