Included in the list of 19 is the City of Gloucester City in the 5th spot. A recent article from Newsweek highlights that although New Jersey’s housing market seems to be thriving on the surface, a deeper analysis reveals troubling trends. Over the past 15 years, the Zillow Home Value Index has indicated that these 19 towns are showing critical warning signs reminiscent of previous market declines: significant overvaluation, noticeable volatility, and a concerning loss of upward momentum. The U.S. Department of Agriculture’s Food Safety and Inspection Service (FSIS) is issuing a public health alert for meat sauce products produced without the benefit of federal inspection. The producer, Thompson’s Spanish Sauce Manufacturing, LLC, in Marion, Ind., does not have a federal grant of inspection. FSIS is issuing a public health alert because the company was unavailable to confirm their actions to remove affected products from commerce. FSIS will continue to work with the company and conduct effectiveness checks to verify customers are notified and ensure no affected products are available to consumers. WEDNESDAY, JUNE 25TH: NJBS declared a blood emergency earlier this month, with less than a 1–2 day supply of critical blood types across the region DEAL, NJ – New Jersey Blood Services (NJBS) is hosting a blood drive in memory of Jherin Gorcey, a compassionate young woman who passed away unexpectedly at the age of 16. The blood drive will be on Tuesday, June 28th from 1:00pm to 7:00pm at the JCC Jersey Shore. Jherin was a vibrant and active member in her community and was known for her motivation to give back to others. This is the 14th annual blood drive in her memory, which have collected a total of almost 1,000 blood donations combined. Berlin Township, NJ - An Atlantic County woman has been arrested and charged in reference to a stabbing that occurred outside a Wawa in Berlin Township this afternoon, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Berlin Township Police Chief Louis Bordi. On Friday, June 20, 2025, at approximately 2:43 p.m., officers from the Berlin Township Police Department responded to the Wawa located on the 400 block of Route 73 in reference to a stabbing. Upon arrival, officers located the victim – a 35-year-old man from Egg Harbor City – suffering from multiple stab wounds in the Wawa parking lot. He was transported by helicopter to Cooper University Hospital, where he was reported to be in critical condition. Instead, he pushed the attack with a fearlessness that helped the Allies take the country back from the Nazis. Nearly half a century later, he received a belated Medal of Honor for his actions. Kobashigawa was born Sept. 28, 1917, in Hilo, Hawaii, to Japanese immigrants Shintsu and Kame Kobashigawa.
