Rowan's Phil Sedalis Named Region Player of the Year; Leads 4 Profs on All-Region Team

Screenshot 2025-01-12 082725GREENSBORO, NC - Rowan's Phil Sedalis has been named the ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III Region 4 Position Player of the Year and is joined on the All-Region Team by fellow Profs Jason Morgan, Marco Mannino and Zach Coluccio.  Sedalis and Morgan were named to the First Team with Mannino and Coluccio being tabbed for the Second Team.
 
That group will be among the leaders as Rowan (36-10) plays for a national championship when it travels to the NCAA Division III World Series this week. The Profs, seeded seventh in the tournament, will take on second-seeded Denison on Friday at 4:45 p.m. in Eastlake, Ohio. The Profs captured their second Super Regional title in four years when they defeated #5 Lynchburg last weekend. 
 
Sedalis (Wenonah, NJ/Deptford), the senior centerfielder, earns ABCA All-Region First Team honors for the third time and is a two-time All-NJAC selection. He is batting .376 with team-highs in runs (66), hits (77), home runs (16) and RBI (72). 
 
Morgan (Logan Twp., NJ/Gloucester Catholic) is chosen to the All-Region First Team for the second consecutive year. The senior outfielder is batting .366 with 75 hits, 66 runs, 59 RBI and a team-high 17 doubles. Morgan picked up his third selection to the All-Conference Team this season. 
 
Mannino (Wrightstown, NJ/Northern Burlington) earns a spot on the All-Region Team for the first time in his career, and received his initial All-Conference selection as well. The senior shortstop put together a career-best season at the plate, leading the starters with his .389 average. He's also driven in 55 runs and has scored 40 times. 
 
Also a first-time All-Region honoree, Coluccio (Erial, NJ/Timber Creek Regional) leads the starting pitchers with a 9-1 record and a 2.78 ERA. The senior righthander picked up his first selection to the All-NJAC Team and has recorded a career-high 71 strikeouts. 
 
The ABCA/Rawlings NCAA Division III All-America teams will be announced the evening of Thursday, May 29 immediately following the Opening Ceremony at the 2025 NCAA Division III World Series. Only First Team All-Region selections are eligible for All-America honors.
