On 5/13/25 at 6:10 am, two adult males were stabbed by an unknown person and transported to a local hospital. Their conditions are unknown at this time. In addition, there is no motive or arrest. The investigation is ongoing with the East Detective Division.
On 5/13/25 at 12:08 am, 15th District Officers responded to a radio call for a report of a male shot on the highway at 6800 Edmund Street. Responding officers immediately transported the 32-year-old male victim to Jefferson-Torresdale Hospital, suffering from a gunshot to his left leg. While en route to the hospital, the victim stated to responding officers that he knew of the male who shot him; however, he did not know the other 2 males who were with him. The offenders fled in a white colored vehicle, possibly a Kia SUV. The victim is listed in stable condition. The motive is unknown, and there is no arrest. The investigation is ongoing with the Shooting Investigation Group (SIG).
On 5/12/25 at 11:40 pm, 18th District Officers responded to a shooting outside 58XX Market Street in Philadelphia. An adult male victim was located on the sidewalk, and responding officers immediately transported the victim to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center. Due to the severity of his injuries, the 23-year-old male victim was immediately taken into surgery and listed in critical condition. Further investigation reveals a white Nissan SUV traveling eastbound from 60th Street briefly stopped in front of the location. Two unidentified males exited the vehicle and opened fire, striking the victim multiple times throughout his body. The suspects quickly fled the scene, leaving the victim critically wounded on the sidewalk. The investigation remains ongoing with SIG as detectives work to identify the suspects and determine the motive behind the shooting.
