Serious crashIn the early hours of Monday, May 12, 2025, at approximately 12:26 AM, the Gloucester Township Police Department responded to a serious motor vehicle collision involving two vehicles at the intersection of Blackwood Clementon Road and Peters Lane.

Upon arrival, officers discovered both vehicles with significant damage resulting from the collision. Each vehicle was occupied by a single driver, and both drivers sustained injuries due to the impact. Emergency medical assistance was promptly provided by first responders from the Gloucester Township Police Department, Pine Hill Police Department, Inspira Basic Life Support, Virtua Paramedics, and the Blenheim Fire Company (Station 83). Both injured drivers were transported to a nearby hospital for further evaluation and treatment.

Given the severity of the crash, Blackwood Clementon Road was temporarily closed between Erial Road and Little Gloucester Road for several hours, allowing crash investigators to conduct a comprehensive investigation. The investigation remains active and is being led by the SCIT. At this stage, no criminal charges have been filed. The identities of the drivers involved are being withheld pending further investigation and notification of their families.

The Gloucester Township Police Department emphasizes the importance of road safety for all motorists.
