Philadelphia PD Crime Report

The Philadelphia Police Department is currently investigating three separate incidents that occurred in different parts of the city Friday, May 2. All cases remain active, and updates will be provided as new information becomes available. In the 19th District, a fatal auto-pedestrian collision occurred at approximately 11:37 p.m. in the area of 4xx North 63rd Street. An adult white male, currently identified as "John Doe," was struck by a vehicle that fled the scene. The victim was transported to Lankenau Medical Center by Medics, where he was pronounced dead at 12:21 a.m. The Crash Investigation Division is actively investigating. In the 26th District, officers responded to a stabbing incident at 1400 North Marshall Street at approximately 1:58 a.m. An adult female suffered a single stab wound and was transported to Temple University Hospital by police. Road Construction/Closures to Affect Traffic

South Jersey Gas will be working on Berlin Cross Keys Road in Berlin Borough from Monday, May 5 to Thursday, May 8 from 7 p.m. to 7 a.m. There will be a partial road closure between Atlantic Avenue and Park Drive. PSE&G will be working on Kaighn and Princess avenues in Camden from Monday, May 5 to Tuesday, May 6 from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a road closure on Kaighn Avenue from Kenwood to Haddon avenues and on Princess Avenue from Wildwood to Kaighn avenues. PSE&G will be working on Cooper Landing Road in Cherry Hill from Monday, May 5 to Friday, May 9 from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. There will be a full road closure between Chapel Avenue and Route 70.
