Voorhees Woman Charged for Possessing, Distributing Child Sexual Abuse Material

MakaylaVoorhees, NJ – A Voorhees woman has been arrested and charged for possessing and distributing child sexual abuse material, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Voorhees Police Chief Louis Bordi.

Makayla Johnson, 20, was charged on April 17, 2025, with second-degree Distribution of Child Sexual Abuse Material, second-degree Possession with Intent to Distribute Child Sexual Abuse Material, and third-degree Possession of Child Sexual Abuse Material.

Multiple cyber tips from the National Center of Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) led detectives to a Snapchat account used to possess and distribute child sexual abuse material.  During the investigation, detectives from the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit identified Johnson as the user of the Snapchat account. Additionally, a forensic search of Johnson’s cell phone uncovered child sexual abuse material.

Johnson was taken into custody at her residence in Voorhees on April 17, 2025, and remanded to the Camden County Correctional Facility.

Anyone with information is asked to contact Detective Patrick Collins of the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office High Tech Crimes Unit at (856) 225-5183.  Tips can also be sent to CAMDEN.TIPS.
