Green (Mullica Hill, NJ/Clearview Regional) played a key role in Rowan’s two victories last week, totaling two goals, one assist, three caused turnovers, nine draw controls and eight ground balls. The senior midfielder scored the game-winning goal with 30 seconds remaining to lift the Profs to an 11-10 upset of #4 Franklin & Marshall, marking Rowan’s first win over a Top 5 opponent since 2010. She also added five ground balls and eight draw controls in the victory.

The senior followed that with an assist, three ground balls and three caused turnovers as Rowan defeated NJAC foe Stockton, 14-11.

Green has posted 25 goals and 14 assists this year and leads the squad with 61 draw controls and 29 caused turnovers. Earlier this season, Green became the program’s all-time leader in those categories and now has 342 draw controls and 134 caused turnovers.

Rowan is in the midst of one of its best seasons ever, owning an 11-1 record and earning a spot in the IWLCA Top 25 for the first time this week. The Profs, who play at Catholic on Tuesday, are ranked sixth in the NCAA’s National Power Index (NPI).
