Fugitive Apprehended in Pennsylvania for Sexual Assault of Pine Hill Girl

Pine Hill, NJ – A fugitive charged with sexually assaulting a child in Pine Hill was apprehended in Pennsylvania this morning, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Pine Hill Police Chief Christopher Winters.
Shane Hennesy, 22, of Newton Square, PA was taken in custody at approximately 6:00 a.m. today in Morgantown, PA. The arrest was made by members of the U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force – Camden Division and the U.S. Marshals Service Eastern Pennsylvania Violent Crimes Fugitive Task Force – Reading Division.
Hennesy was charged on February 20, 2025, with first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, second-degree Sexual Assault, and two counts of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child for crimes he is alleged to have committed against a 12-year-old girl in Pine Hill between December 2024 and January 2025 after the two met online.
Hennesy will be remanded to the Berks County Jail in Pennsylvania, pending extradition to New Jersey.
