Detectives Seeking Fugitive in Sexual Assault of Pine Hill Girl

Pine Hill, NJ – Detectives are seeking the public’s assistance in locating a fugitive charged with sexually assaulting a child in Pine Hill, reported Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Pine Hill Police Chief Christopher Winters.
Shane Hennesy, 22, of Newton Square, Pennsylvania was charged on February 20, 2025, with first-degree Aggravated Sexual Assault, second-degree Sexual Assault, and two counts of third-degree Endangering the Welfare of a Child for crimes he is alleged to have committed against a 12-year-old girl in Pine Hill between December 2024 and January 2025 after the two met online.
Hennesy is described as a white male with long, shaggy brown hair and brown eyes, standing approximately 6’1’’ tall and weighing about 200 pounds. He may have recently lost weight. Hennesy is known to frequent Newton Square, Pennsylvania as well as Ocean City, Maryland and Newark, Delaware. Photos of Hennesy are shown below.
The U.S. Marshals Service New York/New Jersey Regional Fugitive Task Force – Camden Division is offering a reward of up to $1,000 for information leading to Hennesy’s arrest.
