Rowan jumped on the board in the first inning when Tyler Cannon reached on an error and eventually moved to third and scored when Suriani was hit by a pitch with the bases loaded.
The Profs held the 1-0 lead until the fifth inning when Bogart hit a two-run single. TCNJ (20-11; 8-3)  got their first run in the top of the sixth by way of two walks, an error and a ground out but Rowan added a pair in the bottom of the inning on a sacrifice fly from Suriani and an RBI single by Dave Appolonia to own a 5-1 lead.
Rowan increased its lead to 7-1 in the seventh as Mannino stroked a two-run double down the line to score Sedalis and Karson Harcourt.
TCNJ picked up its first hit of the game in the eighth on an infield single by Gianni Marano, and then recorded two hits in the ninth to add its second run.
The teams will go at it again on Friday on the Lions' home field with first pitch at 3 p.m. Rowan returns home on Saturday for a doubleheader against William Paterson.
