(March 20, 2025 – Wenonah) - Amanda Esposito and Gerard “Jerry” McManus have officially secured the endorsement of the Gloucester Republican Party for New Jersey Assembly in the 4th Legislative District (LD4). Winning the Gloucester County GOP Convention, Esposito & McManus are now the party’s chosen candidates to advocate for responsible governance, economic growth, and a stronger future for New Jersey families. The convention also unanimously endorsed former Assemblyman Jack Ciattarelli for New Jersey governor.
New Jersey’s 4th Legislative District spans 10 municipalities across Camden, Gloucester, and Atlantic counties, including Gloucester Township, Washington Township, Winslow Township, Franklin Township, Waterford, Newfield, Chesilhurst, Buena Borough, Buena Vista Township, and Monroe Township.
Gloucester County GOP Chairman Adam Wingate expressed strong support for the candidates, stating, “Amanda Esposito and Jerry McManus are the right leaders to represent the hardworking families of LD4. They bring the experience, dedication, and vision needed to fight for fiscal responsibility, economic opportunity, and government transparency in Trenton. Our party is proud to stand behind them in this critical election.”
With their campaign slogan “It’s About You, LD4,”Esposito & McManus emphasize a bottom-up approach to governance, ensuring that residents’ voices drive legislative results at the State House.
Amanda Esposito, a lifelong resident of LD4, grew up in Washington Township and resides in Gloucester Township. A dedicated educator for 13 years, she has taught middle and high school students in English and History. In 2023, Amanda ran a competitive Assembly race, coming within three points of flipping the district. She is a strong advocate for school funding reform, ensuring fair funding for schools without overburdening taxpayers. She is committed to addressing learning loss and protecting parental rights.

Jerry McManus, a Winslow Township resident and married father of five, is a successful real estate professional with a strong background in business and community leadership. With a degree in Economics from Rowan University, he brings a deep understanding of market trends and economic challenges facing families and businesses. As a Winslow Township School Board member and former youth pastor, he is dedicated to strengthening families and expanding opportunities.
