At approximately 3:48 AM, a 35-year-old female was shot twice in the right shoulder and twice in the right arm in the area of 500 W. Erie Avenue. She was transported by private vehicle to Temple Hospital, where she was placed in stable condition. No arrests have been made and no weapons were recovered.
At approximately 1:37 AM, officers responded to a radio call for a “person with a gun/male shot on the highway” at 100 N. 53rd Street. Upon arrival, officers found a 30-year-old male victim lying on the highway with gunshot multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body. He was transported to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center, where he was pronounced dead at 1:49 AM.
Victim #2, a 35-year-old female, arrived at Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center via private vehicle with a gunshot wound to the right thigh and is listed in stable condition.
Victim #3, a 30-year-old male, arrived at the Hospital of the University of Pennsylvania–Cedar Campus by private vehicle with a gunshot wound to the abdomen and is also listed in stable condition.
No arrests have been made, and no weapons have been recovered at this time. The Homicide Unit is actively investigating. Anyone with information is urged to contact the Homicide Unit at 215-686-3334. A $20,000 reward is being offered for information leading to an arrest and conviction.
