Keith M. Renne, 81, born in Delaware

KeithsOn Saturday, March 15, 2025, Keith Munro Renne was called home to his eternal rest and to dwell in the presence of his Lord and Savior Jesus Christ.

Keith was born in Wilmington, Delaware to Evan and Elizabeth Renne. They moved to Tennessee where he lived until graduating Maryville College in 1966 with the honor of having his name among those listed in the Who's Who of American Colleges and Universities. He then went on to graduate from Faith Theological Seminary (Elkins Park, PA) in 1970.

Keith was a beloved teacher and a favorite among many of his students who recall how gentle, kind, and sweet he was. After teaching for several years he moved on to a career in banking until he retired. Though he switched careers, Keith was always a teacher at heart, imparting his vast knowledge of history, English, and of course his passion for the Bible and love of Jesus Christ.

Keith was always learning, and sharing that knowledge, but he also loved drawing, and writing, sports but especially football and basketball. He loved to laugh and laughed with his whole face especially at "dad" jokes. The cornier the better. He delighted in coaxing a laugh out of others with his jokes but was also content to just enjoy a chuckle on his own.

In 1968 while working for the summer in Cape May Keith met his future wife Naomi Morris from Collingswood, NJ, and they married in 1969. Keith was a devoted husband and loving father. He was guided in all his actions by his love of God and desire to be a reflection of God's love. Keith will be greatly missed by his family and all those whose lives were brightened by having known him. But we also find comfort in knowing he is at peace sitting at the feet of his Savior.

Keith was preceded in death by his parents Evan Renne and Elizabeth Renne (née Miller) and his younger sister Carol Renne. He is survived by his wife Naomi Renne (née Morris), his son Philip Renne, his daughter Lori Beth Parks (née Renne) and her husband Jonathan Parks. As well as his older brother Roland Renne.

A graveside service will be held at Harleigh Cemetery, 1640 Haddon Ave., Camden, NJ 08103 at 1:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 2nd, 2025. All are welcome to attend.
