Beloved wife for 66 years of the late John "Jack" P. Heath, Jr. Loving daughter of the late Andrew and Ada (nee Cox) Price. Devoted mother of John P. "Jack" Heath III (Maryanne), Kathleen Heath and Scott Heath. Beloved Dom of grandchildren Ian, Scott Jr., Sean, Finn, Elizabeth and Brigid.

Eleanor attended South Philadelphia High School where she loved to write. She always considered herself a South Philly girl at heart, even though she lived much of her life in South Jersey. Eleanor spent four years in Germany with her husband while he worked for the Department of Defense. During that time she enjoyed traveling throughout Germany and Europe with her family.

Family was the absolute center of Eleanor's life. She was the glue and guiding force for her family, and a constant source of positive comfort to her family. She thought about her family constantly.

Eleanor enjoyed cooking weekly dinners for her family, and especially loved cooking for the entire family big Thanksgiving, Christmas and Easter dinners. She loved watching the Phillies, and never missed a game. Eleanor was thrilled when her childhood hero Richie Ashburn wished her a happy birthday on air during a Phillies game. Eleanor also enjoyed reading, watching the Eagles and watching Notre Dame and Penn State football games with her husband Jack. She enjoyed solving daily cross word puzzles.

Eleanor had a heart of gold, and always put others before herself. She was a master at getting the absolute best Christmas and birthday presents for her family. Her family appreciated always being able to turn to Eleanor for comfort, hugs and encouragement when things were tough. Eleanor had an exceptional memory, and was a master at using her affectionate sense of humor to always lift spirits. Eleanor's favorite saint was Saint Lucy. She was proud that her children and grandchildren were able to attend Catholic schools. She made sure they never missed mass.

Services and interment are private under the direction of Gardner Funeral Home at the request of the family.
