ATTACKS ON TESLA VEHICLES/DEALERSHIPS CONTINUE, FBI SEEKS PUBLIC'S HELP

The Federal Bureau of Investigation (FBI) is informing the public about recent nationwide incidents targeting Tesla electric vehicles (EVs), dealerships, storage lots, and charging stations. Since January 2025, at least nine states have reported incidents involving Tesla EVs. These incidents have included arson, gunfire, and vandalism, featuring graffiti expressing grievances against individuals perceived by the perpetrators to be racists, fascists, or political opponents. These criminal acts appear to have been committed by lone offenders, and all known incidents occurred at night.
Individuals require little planning to use basic tactics, such as improvised incendiary devices and firearms, and may view these attacks as victimless property crimes.
