Rowan's Khalif Meares Named to All-NJAC First Team

Screenshot 2025-01-12 082725PITMAN, NJ – Rowan senior Khalif Meares has been named to the 2025 NJAC All-Conference Men’s Basketball First Team in a vote of the league’s coaches. It marks his second consecutive selection to the All-NJAC First Team. 
The 6-3 guard from Philadelphia (Abraham Lincoln HS) led the Profs in scoring with 19.5 points per game, which ranked fifth in the NJAC. He was the team’s top rebounder with 5.1 per game, while he converted 50.7 percent (172-339) of his field-goal attempts. Meares also averaged a team-high 18.4 points in NJAC games. 
Meares tallied double figures in all but three of the 24 he played in this season, netting a career-high 35 points at New Jersey City in December.
Rowan (12-14) saw its season come to an end in the NJAC Quarterfinals with a loss to third-seeded Stockton.
