PHILADELPHIA PA (February 7, 2025)(CNBNews)--On Thursday, February 6 at 11:00 p.m., officers from the 22nd District responded to a radio call reporting a "Person with a gun" on the 1500 block of North Carlisle Street. Upon arrival, they discovered the victim, 20-year-old Chase Myles from Bowie, MD, lying on the highway with a gunshot wound to the chest. Police transported him to Temple Hospital, where he succumbed to his injuries and was pronounced dead at 11:15 p.m. The shooter, identified as 23-year-old Nicholas Iaderosa from the 1400 block of North Carlisle Street, was arrested and will be charged with Murder and related offenses.

February 7, a shooting incident was reported in the 12th District at approximately 5:23 PM on the highway near the 2700 block of South 78th Street. The victim, a 35-year-old Black male, sustained a gunshot wound to his right hand and another to the left side of his abdomen. He was transported to Penn-Presbyterian Medical Center via a private vehicle, where he was placed in stable condition.
 
The scene is currently being held but no weapons have been recovered, and no apprehensions have been made at this time. Anyone with information regarding this incident is encouraged to contact the Philadelphia Police Department’s Shooting Investigations Group at 215-686-8270 or submit an anonymous tip by calling 215-686-TIPS (8477). February 8, a shooting occurred in the 35th District at approximately 3:09 a.m. on the 5400 block of Old York Road. A 37-year-old Black male sustained two gunshot wounds to the left shoulder. He was transported by a private vehicle to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he was placed in stable condition. No crime scene was located, no arrests have been made, and no weapons have been recovered.

A shooting occurred in the 14th District at 4xx E. Haines Street on the highway at approximately 7:53 PM. The victim, a 22-year-old Black male, sustained multiple gunshot wounds throughout his body. He was transported to Einstein Hospital by private vehicle, which remained on location, and was placed in stable condition. The scene is being held, but no weapons have been recovered, and no arrests have been made at this time.

UPDATE

February 9, a 23-year-old male has been arrested in connection with the stabbing incident that occurred in the 1400 block of North 15th Street at 2:39 a.m. He faces charges of attempted murder, aggravated assault, and related offenses. The offenders name and photo will be released upon completion of processing.
