When starting a legal claim, the victim must discuss why the accident happened, who caused it, and what factors apply. By discussing the cause, an attorney could identify additional defendants who are responsible for the person's medical expenses and auto repair costs. 1. Texting and Driving Statistics show a steady increase in auto accidents caused by texting and driving. Many smartphone users don't set up hands-free texting when driving, and the individuals cause wrecks that kill others or could cost the person their life. Victims who need help after a crash caused by texting and driving can get started on a legal claim by contacting an attorney now. 2. Anti-gun Democrats in Trenton have wasted no time getting back to politics, again ignoring real issues faced by the citizens of New Jersey. The Assembly Judiciary Committee has posted several gun control bills for a hearing Thursday, February 20. This is an important election year in New Jersey. The last couple of elections in New Jersey caught the country by surprise with results much closer than anticipated. Ignoring the tea leaves of recent elections, anti-gunners are doubling down on the same exhausted issues. New Jersey residents are not just angry, they are furious over soaring property taxes, the cost of living and a whole host of issues that hit closer to home than concerns over 3D-printed firearms. Yet again, we are being led to believe that New Jersey’s gun laws still aren’t tough enough despite the annual fixation on them. Thursday’s hearing will feature obscure, hyper-technical and redundant proposals that...

By Robbie Schneider Social Media Manager FRANCISCAN HEALTH Every breath we take is often taken for granted. But for the 3.8 million Americans living with emphysema, each shortened breath, cough and wheeze is a reminder of this devastating lung disease. End-stage emphysema, or stage 4 emphysema, can mean living with a decade or more of breathing problems, tiredness, heart problems or other health concerns that impact your ability to live your life to your fullest. Because emphysema, like other forms of COPD, reduces the amount of oxygen that can reach your bloodstream, the heart works harder to spread oxygen throughout the body. A person with severe emphysema may get tired easily, may have chest pains or palpitations, or experience headaches, sleep problems, and irritability. “There is no cure for emphysema or COPD, but our goal is to help slow the progression of the disease,” said Faisal Khan, MD, a Greenwood...

Despite being unprepared, Democrats running the New Jersey Assembly Judiciary Committee advanced a package of gun bills Thursday, February 20, 2025. The hearing started an hour and a half late as they fumbled with amendments to “fix” the bills. There was legislation impacting the Attorney General and law enforcement, but committee members admitted they consulted neither. Second Amendment groups? They did not bother to talk to them either. These anti-gun politicians were not looking for input, and it showed. Please use the Take Action button below and ask your Assembly member for a NO vote on any gun control. This was an exercise in pure politics, and it was never about public safety. NRA State Director Darin Goens testified against the bills, pointing out that these bills are unnecessary and deeply flawed.
