Joseph B. Collins, Jr., 54, of Mickleton, formerly of Gloucester City

9235082_fbsOn February 22, 2025, at the age of 54. Of Mickleton. Formerly of Gloucester City. Loving and devoted husband of 23 years to Bridget K. Collins (nee Donnelly). Loving father of Joseph B. Collins, III, Mary-Kathryn Collins and Margaret Anne “Maggie” Collins. Beloved son of Edna Collins and the late Joseph B. Collins, Sr. Loving brother of John Collins, Mark Collins and Maureen Collins. Cherished uncle of Alyssa Collins and Dominic Collins. Son-in-law of Edward & Mary Donnelly and Elaine O’Brien. Best friend of Phillip Roth. Also survived by many loving aunts, uncles and cousins. 

Joe was a longtime resident of Gloucester City, where he graduated from Gloucester Catholic High School class of 1989. He went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Rutgers University. Joe had a long career in Information Technology as a Chief Technology Officer. He was a lifelong parishioner of St. Mary’s Church and 4th degree knight with Knights of Columbus Council 674 in Gloucester City. Joe was a member of USANA Outdoor Range in Elmer, NJ. Joe was a family man, who cherished his wife, kids and dog, Charli, above all. He cared for others and helped whomever he could. He loved his family more than anything. 

Relatives and friends are invited to his viewing on Thursday morning, February 27th from 9:30 to 11:30 AM at St. Mary’s R.C. Church, 426 Monmouth St., Gloucester City, where his Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated at 12 Noon. Interment will follow in Locustwood Memorial Park, Cherry Hill.
