Fourth Arrest in Triple Shooting in Center City

PHILADELPHIA — The Philadelphia Police Department is investigating a triple shooting that took place on December 13, 2024, in Center City. The incident occurred around 4:33 p.m. near 15th and Market Streets in Dilworth Park, leaving three juveniles injured.
- Victim 1: A 14-year-old male was transported to Jefferson Hospital in extremely critical condition.
- Victim 2: A 15-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to the right calf and was taken to Jefferson Hospital, where he is in stable condition.
- Victim 3: A 14-year-old male suffered a gunshot wound to the calf and was taken to the Children's Hospital of Philadelphia (CHOP) by his mother. He is currently in stable condition.
Following an investigation by the Shooting Investigation Group, four individuals have been arrested and charged in connection with the shooting:
- December 13, 2024: A 14-year-old male was arrested shortly after the incident and charged with Aggravated Assault, Possession of an Instrument of Crime (PIC), Recklessly Endangering Another Person (REAP), and Conspiracy.
- December 18, 2024: A 16-year-old male was arrested and charged with Aggravated Assault, Criminal Conspiracy, and related offenses.
- December 19, 2024: Another 16-year-old male was taken into custody and charged with Aggravated Assault, Criminal Conspiracy, and related offenses.
- February 27, 2025: A 17-year-old male was arrested for his role in the shooting and charged with Aggravated Assault, Criminal Conspiracy, and related offenses.
