The Hampshire Companies Has Cleaned Up Nearly Half a Dozen Brownfield Sites in NJ

The Hampshire Companies traces its roots in New Jersey real estate to James E. Hanson, who started his career in 1922. His son, Jon, founded Hampshire in 1976 and serves as Chairman. The day-to-day operations is led by James E. Hanson II, CEO and President, the third generation in New Jersey real estate and the fourth generation is currently running various aspects of the business.

- Port South Federal Boulevard at 200 Federal Drive, Carteret: Formerly the site of an auto body shop and decrepit industrial buildings, this is now two Class A industrial buildings totaling 104,864 SF.
- Porete Avenue Redevelopment at 12 Porete Avenue, North Arlington: Formerly the site of Goodman Plumbing Supply, this is now a 108,993 SF Class A industrial building.
- Cross Street Logistics Center at 30 Cross Street, Bogota / Ridgefield Park: Formerly the site of a driving range, this is now two Class A industrial buildings totaling 187,530 SF.
