Before President-elect Donald Trump was sworn into office, NBC News confirmed Vivek Ramaswamy was leaving DOGE and intends to announce his candidacy for Ohio governor. The Department of Government Efficiency is a new advisory body proposed by Trump
and was to be run by Ramaswamy and Elon Musk.
