Investing in South Jersey in 2024

Rep. Donald Norcross presented $850,000 in Community Project Funding (CPF) to the Borough of Merchantville to upgrade pedestrian and bike path infrastructure.
In 2024, we secured $308 million in total federal funding for South Jersey, including $61 million for education and $54 million for healthcare and housing. My office also helped recover $7.7 million in funds for constituents and responded to over 50,000 inquiries.
We’ve made significant strides in infrastructure investments, securing $13.6 million for 14 Community Project Funding awards across Camden, Gloucester, and Burlington Counties. These projects will improve wastewater management, support local police, enhance road safety, and invest in community spaces and trails.
On a larger scale, New Jersey received $11 billion in infrastructure improvements, including major projects like the “Missing Moves” project to connect Route 42 North to 295 South, and environmental projects to remove lead pipes and clean up the Lipari Landfill Superfund site in Gloucester County.
