Siddeeq ShakoorPHILADELPHIA — On Thursday, July 11, 2024, at approximately 12:18 a.m., officers from the 15th District responded to a call reporting a "person with a gun" and a "male down on the highway" in the 1500 block of Pratt Street. Upon arrival, officers located a male victim inside a convenience store suffering from gunshot wounds to both shoulders. The victim, identified as 37-year-old Kenneth Kennedy-McLeod of 20XX E. Lehigh Avenue, was transported to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 12:43 a.m.
On Wednesday, January 8, 2025, the Homicide Fugitive Unit arrested 43-year-old Siddeeq Shakoor in connection with the murder of Kenneth Kennedy-McLeod. Shakoor is charged with Murder, Criminal Conspiracy, Robbery, Violations of the Uniform Firearms Act (VUFA), and related offenses.
