Frank Keebler, age 98, , GHS Teacher, Head of Student Services, WWII NAVY Veteran

Gloucester City, NJ-- On December 28, 2024, at the age of 98. Frank was a lifelong resident of Gloucester City. Loving and devoted husband of 71 years to the late Darline Lee Keebler (nee Ternau). Loving father of Karen Hartman (late Robert), the late Lynda Keebler and the late Frankie Keebler. Beloved Poppy of grandsons Frankie Willerton (Dana) and Joseph Hartman and great-grandfather of Cowan. He was the beloved brother of Carole Wilson and Betty Englehart and was predeceased by his siblings, Doris, Alice, Eddie, and Tom. Also survived by many loving nieces, nephews, close friends, educators and students.
Frank proudly served our country in the U.S. Navy during World War II. Following his service, he returned home to complete high school and graduate from Gloucester High School class of 1947. He went on to receive his bachelor’s degree from Glassboro State. Frank was a teacher, football coach and Director of Student Personnel Services at Gloucester High School for 39 years before his retirement.
Relatives and friends are invited to his visitation on Saturday morning, January 4th, 2025, from 9:30 to 11 AM at the McCANN-HEALEY FUNERAL HOME, 851 Monmouth St., Gloucester City. The funeral service is at 11 AM in the funeral home. Interment with military honors will follow at Eglington Cemetery, Clarksboro.
