Haddon Township, NJ and formerly of the Northeast section of Philadelphia, PA. Suddenly, On January 2, 2025, at the age of 64. David was the son of the late, Edward F. and Joan Mary (nee Hartigan) Tague. David is survived by his loving and devoted husband James Cleary. Loving brother of Mary Joan Niemiec (Michael); beloved uncle of Mathew Padilla, Joanie Farrell (Corey), Sarah Dever (Ed) and many great nieces and nephews.

David was born in Philadelphia, PA and was raised in the Northeast section of Philadelphia. He was a graduate of Father Judge High School Class of 1978. David was the owner of Sublime Event Decor in Audubon, NJ. He graduated from the Art Institute of Philadelphia with a graphic arts degree. David was a versatile artist and enjoyed using his talents to serve others by creating beautiful floral arrangements and artwork for special events. He lived an extraordinary life filled with adventure, laughter and love with his best friend and husband.    

 Honoring David’s wishes, there will be no visitation and no services. Cremation will be held privately. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made in honor of David to an animal rescue or shelter of your choice. Please note in memo, David F. Tague.
