Clementon Family Displaced by Fire, Dog Rescued

CLEMENTON, NJ (December 13, 2024)--On Tuesday, December 16th, at approximately 3:12 PM, Gloucester Township Police Officers were dispatched to 1718 Kingswood Place in the Clementon section of Gloucester Township, in response to a reported dwelling fire.
 
Fire departments from Blackwood, Chews Landing, Erial, Lambs Terrace, Pine Hill and Winslow, responded. The Fire Company successfully brought the fire under control. Assistance was also provided by Inspira BLS, Volunteers of America and the Gloucester Township Office of Emergency Management.

No injuries were reported, as no one was home at the time; however, 1 dog was on location, which was rescued by the fire department. The family was displaced at this time and is being assisted by the Red Cross.
 
The cause of the fire is currently under investigation by the Camden County Fire Marshal's Office.
