Alberto J. DiBartolomeo, 97, of Collingswood

AlbertoAlberto J. "Al" DiBartolomeo passed away peacefully at home on January 18, 2025 with his loving family by his side.  An over 70 year resident of Collingswood, NJ he was 97 years old.

Beloved husband of 71 years to Dolores A. (nee DiGaetano).  Loving father of John (Helen), Joseph, William, Robert and Anna Marie (Kevin) Breese.  Devoted grandfather of Tawnee, John Jr. (Tricia) and Gregg (Nicole) and great grandfather of Michael, Delana, Carley, Dominick and Nikolas.  Dear brother of the late Yolanda, Dino, Anthony and Harry.  He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Al was a World War II U.S. Army veteran.  He was a devoted family man; nothing was more important to him than his wife, children and grandchildren.  Al was an incredible cook, known for his Italian meatballs.  He was also an avid Philadelphia sports fan and loved time spent at the Wildwood beach and boardwalk. 

Relatives and friends are invited to attend his viewing on Monday, January 27, 2025, 9:00 to 10:30 AM at the FOSTER-WARNE FUNERAL HOME, 820 Haddon Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Mass of Christian Burial will follow at 11:00 AM from St. Teresa of Calcutta Parish, St. John Church, 809 Park Ave., Collingswood, NJ.  Interment Calvary Cemetery, Cherry Hill, NJ.
