Congressman Van Drew Praises President Trump On Drone Incursions

Washington, DC -Today, Congressman Van Drew commended President Trump for stating he will give the American people some clear answers about the ongoing drone incursions shortly after taking office on January 20th. "It is unacceptable that these drone incursions have been happening since November, and the people of South Jersey are still left without answers from this government," said Congressman Van Drew. "President Trump has always put the American people first, and I have no doubt he will deliver the transparency we have been waiting for. His willingness to take on this issue is exactly the decisive leadership our country needs right now." ESUs Psychology Department Hosts 52nd Biannual Research Forum

EAST STROUDSBURG, PA (01/10/2025)-- The psychology department at ESU hosted the 52nd Biannual Research Forum on December 3, 2024 in Beers Lecture Hall. The fall 2024 awardees of the John Kramer Science award are pictured by the tree planted on the ESU campus in John Kramer's memory. The Research Forum was started over twenty years ago by Sussie Eshun, Ph.D., professor of psychology, and Richard Wesp, Ph.D., retired distinguished professor of psychology, as a venue to showcase the outstanding student research being done in the psychology department. It has steadily grown over the years and now includes numerous research and internship posters, research presentations, student award presentations, and honor society inductions. NFIB Jobs Report: Main Street Labor Costs Ease in December

Fewer small businesses plan to raise compensation in the coming months TRENTON, NJ (Jan. 10, 2025) - NFIB’s December jobs report found that 35% (seasonally adjusted) of small business owners reported job openings they could not fill in December, down one point from November. Seasonally adjusted, a net 29% of small business owners reported raising compensation in December, down three points from November and the lowest reading since March 2021. “Finding qualified workers remained a major headwind for stronger job growth on Main Street in December,” said NFIB Chief Economist Bill Dunkelberg. “In the meantime, compensation increases have softened among small businesses, but remained solid as the year came to an end.” NFIB State Director Eileen Kean said, "Hiring qualified workers remains a difficult task for Main Street businesses. Massage Therapist Peter Petrovic, AKA Jagadisha Peter Petrovic Has License Revoked

TRENTON —(January 2, 2025)-- Attorney General Matthew J. Platkin and the Division of Consumer Affairs announced today that the New Jersey Board of Massage and Bodywork Therapy (“Board”) has permanently revoked the license of an Essex County massage therapist amid allegations he engaged in inappropriate and unwanted sexual contact with a female client during a massage session. CRIME Peter Petrovic, a/k/a Jagadisha Peter Petrovic, is permanently barred from working as a massage therapist in New Jersey under an agreement he entered into with the Board to resolve allegations he groped and digitally penetrated a female client during a massage session in his office in Verona, NJ in 2020. NJ Trooper of the Year Recipients Announced

West Trenton, N.J. (December 24, 2024)-- -Today, Colonel Patrick J. Callahan announced that Sergeant Marc Nietubyc and Sergeant Roy Rohel Jr., from the Technical Emergency and Mission Specialists (T.E.A.M.S.), North Squad, are the recipients of the 2024 Trooper of the Year Award for their exceptional commitment and professionalism during a well-being check incident involving an individual experiencing a mental health crisis. On January 30, 2024, Sergeant Nietubyc and Sergeant Roy Rohel Jr., along with members of the T.E.A.M.S. Unit, were assigned to conduct a critical well-being check at a motel in Branchville Borough, Sussex County. The situation involved an individual experiencing a severe mental health crisis while making threats of self-harm and violence.
