JUST SAYIN' I’m not old. I’m Decade Enhanced.

By Dawn Watson Editor's Note: CNBNews would like to welcome back columnist Dawn Watson, who has returned home after a four-year hiatus. For the first part of my life, I looked much younger than my age. I was trim, agile, with flowing, light-brown hair. In winter my complexion was peachy, in summer I cultivated an amber glow. My husband (the good one) married a beauty and was shocked when I fell apart, piece by piece, and became a sweaty, menopausal banshee. And it happened during my kids’ Teen Years, which is never pleasant, even if menopause hasn’t reared its sweaty head. My Decade Enhancement continued. The Good One passed away, leaving me wondering if I’d ever rediscover my mojo. I entered the dating scene in my late 50’s after dyeing my hair to cover the gray, taking up yoga, and restricting my diet to age-and-weight-appropriate foods that aged me by... Read more →

The previous record was set at $213 million just a month prior. This reflects a 24.7% year-over-year increase. Interestingly, land-based casinos are not enjoying the same revenue levels, as the revenue generated by the nine casinos in Atlantic City has not yet risen to pre-pandemic numbers. According to the Chairman of the New Jersey Casino Control Commission, James Plousis, “The continuing success of online gaming and sports wagering has helped total gaming revenue achieve its best November monthly result in over a decade.” The attraction of online gaming is obvious: It allows players to access their favorite casino games without leaving home.
