Tonight, December 7, Blackwood Fire Company Christmas Parade will be occurring in Downtown Blackwood. The parade begins at 6:00 pm and ends at approximately 8:00 pm. During the parade the Black Horse Pike will be closed in both directions between Church Street and Davistown Road.
 
Heavy pedestrian traffic is expected in the area of the Black Horse Pike therefore drivers are advised to use caution when in the area and to expect minor delays. The detour route is East Church St. to Erial Rd. then make a right on College Drive. Alternately you can utilize Lakeland Road to Woodbury Turnersville Road to Blackwood Barnsboro Rd. to Church St. Davistown Rd will also be closed between Black Horse Pike and Argyle Ave.
 
Officers will be on location at both closure points to assist drivers, however to avoid delays please plan ahead and seek an alternate route.
