Snow in forecast along with 50 mph winds, Arctic blast of cold air

Nearly all of New Jersey will get some light snow Wednesday night into Thursday morning as an Arctic blast of cold air sends temperatures plunging along with dangerous wind gusts up to 55 mph.

Less than 1 inch of snow is expected for most areas, except in the higher elevation areas of western Passaic and Sussex Counties where slightly more could fall. The timing, however, could make for a slick morning commute on Thursday, the National Weather Service said.
