LINDENWOLD, NJ (December 7, 2024)(CNBNews)--Next week, teams from the Camden County Public Works Department, along with Public Service Electric and Gas (PSE&G), will be actively engaged in a series of important projects aimed at improving infrastructure in several local communities. The work will take place in Camden City, Cherry Hill, Gloucester City, Gloucester Township, and Merchantville. Residents can expect to see crews working diligently to enhance services and ensure the maintenance of vital utilities in their areas.
“Motorists should plan to take alternate routes and give themselves plenty of time to get to their destinations,” said Camden County Commissioner Al Dyer, liaison to the Department of Public Works. “Also, remember that when traveling through a construction area, please slow down and stay alert for crew members and debris.”
ROADWORK IN CAMDEN CITY
PSE&G will be working on Federal Street in Camden on Tuesday, Dec. 10, from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m. The road will be closed between North Dudley and 36th Streets.
ROADWORK IN CHERRY HILL
Crews will be working on Park Boulevard in Cherry Hill from Monday, Dec. 9, to Wednesday, Dec. 11, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The road will be closed between Grove Street and Curtis Avenue.
ROADWORK IN GLOUCESTER CITY
Crews will work on Market Street in Gloucester City from Monday, Dec. 9, to Friday, Dec. 13, from 7 a.m. to 3:30 p.m. The road will be closed between South Sussex Avenue and 6th Street.
ROADWORK IN GLOUCESTER TOWNSHIP
Crews will be working on New Brooklyn–Erial Road in Gloucester Township from Monday, Dec. 9, to Friday, Dec. 13, from 7 a.m. to 4 p.m. The road will be closed between Erial–Williamstown Road and Deb Lynn Drive.
ROADWORK IN MERCHANTVILLE
PSE&G will be working on East Park Avenue in Merchantville from Monday, Dec. 9, to Thursday, Dec. 12, from 9:30 a.m. to 3 p.m. There will be a partial road closure between South Center Street and East Chestnut Avenue.
