Camden County, N.J.- Welcome to the team! Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay has announced the hiring of a new Assistant Prosecutor, Veronica Byrd.
Byrd was sworn in on Monday, December 2, 2024. Assistant Prosecutor Byrd comes to the Camden County Prosecutor’s Office after having served as an Assistant Prosecutor at the Cumberland County Prosecutor’s Office for more than four years. She also served as a Judicial Law Clerk to the Honorable Thomas T. Booth of the Superior Court of New Jersey, Camden Vicinage. Byrd earned her Juris Doctor from Rutgers Law School and her Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology from Spelman College.
