GOOD NEWS: No Strike at Midnight

WITHIN 24-HOURS SEVEN PEOPLE SHOT IN PHILADELPHIA, ONE DEAD

 

NOVEMBER 7TH:

 FIVE PEOPLE SHOT, POLICE SEEK WITNESSES

In the 25th District, there was a shooting victim who arrived at 3401 N Broad St, Temple Hospital, around 12:04 a.m. A 43-year-old male sustained gunshot wounds to his right ear and left hand. He was transported by a private vehicle to Temple Hospital, where he was placed in stable condition. No scene was found, no weapon was recovered, and no arrests have been made.

SHOOTING 35th DISTRICT

In the 35th District, a shooting occurred on the highway at 400 W Tabor Rd around 10:56 p.m. A 33-year-old male was shot once in the hip. He was transported by Medic 23B to Einstein Medical Center and is in stable condition. No scene was located, no weapon was recovered, and no arrests have been made.

SHOOTING 22ND DISTRICT

In the 22nd District, a shooting took place on the highway at 20xx N Judson St around 9:45 p.m. A 64-year-old male was shot three times. Police transported him to Temple Hospital, where he is in stable condition. The scene has been held, and a firearm was recovered.

SHOOTING 24TH DISTRICT

In the 24th District, a double shooting/homicide occurred at approximately 11:07 a.m. at 100 E Somerset Street on the highway. The first victim, a 51-year-old Hispanic male, sustained one gunshot wound to the chest and another to the right leg. Police transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced dead at 11:27 a.m. The second victim, a 34-year-old Hispanic male, was shot once in the left shoulder and transported by Medic 31 to Temple University Hospital, where he is in stable condition. The scene is currently being held, and no arrests have been made. No weapons have been recovered.

SHOOTING 25TH DISTRICT

The following information is preliminary and subject to change; updates will be provided as they become available.

In the 25th District, a shooting occurred at Front Street and Wyoming Avenue around 1:33 p.m. A 29-year-old male sustained a gunshot wound to his right thigh. Police transported him to Temple Hospital, where he is in stable condition. The motive remains unknown, and no apprehension has been made. No weapons were recovered.

MURDER, IN THE SECOND DISTRICT

Please note that the following information is preliminary and subject to change. In the 2nd District, a homicide by shooting occurred at approximately 12:38 p.m. on the 21xx block of Tyson Avenue. A 29-year-old Hispanic male sustained multiple gunshot wounds to the left side of his neck and chest. He was transported to Jefferson Torresdale Hospital by police, where he was pronounced deceased at 1:01 p.m. The scene remains secured, with no arrests or motive; a firearm was recovered.

32-YEAR-OLD MAN SHOT MULTIPLE TIMES

The following details are preliminary and subject to change.

Around 10:55 a.m. on the 4500 block of North 19th Street, a 32-year-old man sustained multiple gunshot wounds. Police transported him to Albert Einstein Medical Center, where he is currently in critical but stable condition. The scene remains secured, with no arrests made and no known motive.
