The NEVER TRUMPSTERS are still lamenting Kamala's defeat to Donald J. Trump. Not only did she lose the election, but the margin by which she was defeated was staggering, leaving her supporters disheartened and frustrated.

This hatred of him is endless. And, it is bemusing that some of these individuals are unable to give a reason for their hatred. Recently, a Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) worker in Florida directed her staff who were helping hurricane survivorsnot to go to homes with yard signs supporting President-elect Donald Trump. The Daily Wire reported that the supervisor, Marn'i Washington, 38, told workers to avoid homes advertising 'Trump'.  Whoopi Goldberg, who rose to prominence as a comic, was chosen for The View in 2006. Over her 18 seasons, she went from being a comedian to somehow becoming an expert in all things social and political. She echoed resentment towards Trump throughout the campaign. After he won, she stated vehemently, “He might be president but I will never speak his name.

This election revealed that the public no longer listens to political endorsements from Hollywood movie stars like Robert DeNiro, and they could care less about who successful performers like Bruce Springsteen, Taylor Swift, and J-Lo vote for. It also revealed that the support of mainstream media, print, and film no longer can influence people to vote for anyone. Major newspapers have been doing away with print version of their papers and are now publishing only on their websites.

Some members of the Democratic establishment blame the Progressive Caucas in the House and Senate for her defeat. There are 97 members all of them Democrats. This includes figures like Pramila Jayapal from Washington, Ilhan Omar from Minnesota, Rashida Tlaib from Michigan, Alexandria Ocasio-Cortez from New York City, Senator Bernie Sanders of Vermont, and, unsurprisingly, Rep.Donald Norcross from New Jersey. Their beliefs include allowing individuals assigned males at birth to identify as females and enabling their participation in women's sports. They advocate for access to gender transition procedures for adolescents and support Medicaid and food assistance programs for everyone. To finance these initiatives, they endorse a progressive taxation system. Additionally, they support increased government involvement in private enterprises, establishing open borders, and developing offshore wind farms. Past recordings surface of Harris agreeing with the same far-left ideas. (see Progressive caucas)

This component of the Democrat Party rose to prominence during Trump's 2016 presidential campaign and subsequent victory. The Progressives, along with Nancy Pelosi and Chuck Schumer, played a significant role in Trump's two impeachments, the accusations of Russian interference in the 2016 election, the blocking of Trump’s cabinet picks, and the FBI's surveillance of him. They and others in the media and Hollywood are also responsible for labeling him a dictator, a Fascist, a Nazi, and Hilter. The Trump family and his supporters blame this name-calling on the two assassination attempts of the MAGA leader, one of which the shooter hit him in his ear, nearly missing his head.

The Far-Left Progressives are supported by left-leaning newspapers such as the New York Times and Washington Post, as well as talk show hosts like Jimmy Fallon, Jimmy Kimmel, Bill Maher, Stephen Colbert, and Opra. They also have the backing of outspoken personalities like Joy Behar, Whoopi Goldberg, and Sunny Hostin from The View, along with left-wing commentators on MSNBC, including Joe Scarborough, Mika Brzezinski, and Rachel Maddow. The list is endless.

Exit polls conducted by NBC revealed that many Democratic voters believed that the Democratic Party had failed to communicate its stance on such issues as economics, racism, and sexism. Others pointed to the challenges posed by her abbreviated campaign, which left little time for voter engagement, as well as a lack of messaging on economic matters. Some believed her campaign strayed too far to the Progressive left. The ongoing conflict between Israel and Hamas and the war in Ukraine were other factors. Some believe she lost because she was a woman and a woman of color.

Not mentioned was her personality, specifically that incessant cackle. It remains to be seen if history will paint her as one of the worst presidential candidates. The fact that she dropped out of the Democratic primary, mainly because she couldn't raise enough money to fund a campaign, will weigh against her. Historians will also point to her answer to a question asked by Sunny Hoston on The View. "What would you have done differently from incumbent President Joe Biden, she said, "Not a thing comes to mind." That was all the Trump Camp needed; a vote for Harris was a vote for higher taxes, more inflation, open borders, out-of-control grocery and gas prices, And more of your money to fund the wars in Ukraine and Israel. If elected, she would be no different than the incumbent.

Nancy Pelosi was asked for her opinion on why Kamala lost, “If President Biden had quit the race sooner, it would have given the Party more time to pick a replacement.”Nancy and her Party knew from the first day Joe Biden took the oath of office that he wasn’t fit to be president. And yet they continued to hide his early signs of dementia. His wife, Jill, and his immediate family, along with Biden’s friends and Cabinet, should be put in jail for elderly abuse.

The time for mending fences is long overdue. The past doesn’t matter. The future does. The Never Trumpsters must realize that a staggering number of voters liked what Trump was saying during the 900 rallies he held throughout his campaign. North Carolina,  GeorgiaPennsylvania, and Wisconsin all voted for Trump, giving him 277 Electoral College votes on Wednesday, compared to 224 for Harris. Today, he has 312 electorial votes. Regarding the popular vote Trump received 74,708,855 votes compared to Harris who collected 70,980,347. Republicans took control of the U.S. Senate and the House, guaranteeing Trump a relatively smooth path in confirming his appointments to the courts and the Cabinet in the coming months.

The most surprising development was Trump’s narrow margin in New Jersey, where he fell just five points short of victory in a state traditionally identified as a Democratic stronghold. This close call should be a loud wake-up to potential candidates eyeing a run for the governor’s office in New Jersey in 2025. The residents of New Jersey are increasingly frustrated with the progressive policies promoted by Democrats and are ready to consider anyone who promises a shift toward change. This situation also highlights that Trump’s MAGA movement is alive and thriving in New Jersey, signaling a change in voter sentiment that can no longer be ignored.

In 2016, Trump offered an olive branch to Hillary Clinton. Similarly, he has extended the same gesture to Kamala Harris and the Democratic Party. Let’s stop the name-calling, the name-blaming, and the Monday morning quarterbacking. The election is over. Give the President-Elect a chance to make good on his promises. There is a time and place for everything, and now is the time to focus on reducing divisiveness and putting more effort into MAKING AMERICA GREAT AGAIN!

*The term “The Swamp” in reference to Washington, D.C., is often attributed to various political figures over the years, but it gained significant popularity during the 2016 presidential campaign. Donald Trump frequently used the term to describe the perceived corruption and inefficiency in the U.S. government. While it’s difficult to pinpoint a single individual who originally coined the term in this context, its use in modern political discourse has been primarily associated with Trump and his administration. Before this, the term had been used more generally to describe the political establishment, but Trump’s usage helped solidify it in the public consciousness.
