Rowan's Allie Palumbo Named to the NFHCA Division III Senior Team

Rowan-university8573MANAHAWKIN, NJ — Rowan’s Allie Palumbo (Mantua, NJ/Clearview Regional) has been named to the 2024 NFHCA Senior Team and is one of 60 athletes from 46 Division III institutions to be chosen by the National Field Hockey Coaches Association. The recognition highlights the honorees’ performances this season as well as their positive impact on and off the field.

Palumbo came to Rowan for her final season and made an immediate impact. The 2024 NJAC Midfielder of the Year, she was the Profs’ leading scorer with 40 points (17 goals, 6 assists) while ranking second in the conference. She notched six game-winning goals on the year, including one in overtime that led to a win over #2 Salisbury.

Palumbo earned selection to the All-NJAC First Team for the third time in her career, having done so twice at Stockton. She became the 14th player in Rowan history to earn the conference’s top midfielder award and the second in the last three years.

Rowan (15-8) won its fourth straight NJAC regular-season title and its fourth straight conference championship. The #22 Profs won 11 of their 12 games and made their fourth consecutive appearance in the NCAA Championship, and the 22nd in school history.
