Rowan Men's Soccer to Face Vassar in NCAA Championship First Round on Saturday at Middlebury

DownloadGLASSBORO, NJ- The 12th-ranked Rowan men’s soccer team will face Vassar in the first round of the 2024 NCAA Championship, on Saturday, November 16th at 1:30 p.m. at Middlebury. 
 
The host team, #3 Middlebury, will face Hunter in the other first-round game with the winners meeting on Sunday at 1 p.m. 
 
The Profs are making their 31st all-time appearance in the NCAA Championship. This marks the seventh NCAA appearance under head coach Scott Baker and the fourth in the last five years. Last season, Rowan defeated Middlebury and then lost to host team Stevens on penalty kicks. 
 
Rowan captured the NJAC Championship by defeating Rutgers-Camden, 1-0, in the semifinals and Stockton, 3-1, in the championship game. 
 
Rowan (12-4-5) enters the tournament having won eight in a row and outscoring their opponents by a combined total of 19-1. Vassar (12-3-3) won the Liberty League title by defeating St. Lawrence on penalty kicks.
