SEPTA and TWU Local 234 to Continue Negotiations; No Strike at Midnight

PHILADELPHIA (November 7, 2024)—SEPTA and TWU Local 234 will continue negotiations on a new contract tomorrow, Friday, Nov. 8. In the meantime, City Transit Division employees will not strike when their current contract expires at midnight, so all SEPTA services will continue to operate on normal schedules.

SEPTA is committed to engaging in good-faith negotiations at the bargaining table, with the goal of reaching an agreement that is fair to our hard-working employees and to the customers and taxpayers who fund SEPTA.

Updates on these negotiations will continue to be provided as soon as new information is available. Please visit www.septa.org for SEPTA schedules and other information.
