Rowan Women's Basketball Wins NJAC Opener

GLASSBORO, NJ – Kristina Johnson scored 14 points as one of four Rowan players in double figures as the Profs rolled to a 75-45 in the NJAC women's basketball opener for both teams. Johnson shot 5-of-9 from the field, with four three-pointers, and handed out a team-high four assists. Daniel E. Robertson of Haddon Township, age 73

Dan passed away peacefully on November 26, 2024 after a heroic battle with cancer. A longtime resident of Haddon Township, NJ he was 73 years old. Philadelphia PD Crime Report

Incident One On November 23, 2024, at approximately 1:00 PM, officers responded to a robbery at the Exotic Convenience Store located in the 6700 block of Castor Avenue. Upon arrival, the store employee reported that an unknown Black male entered the store, walked to the back, and, when approached, brandished a black handgun. Coast Guard Seizes Illegally Caught Fish Off the Coast of Texas

CORPUS CHRISTI, Texas — The Coast Guard interdicted three lanchas and seized approximately 2,200 pounds of illegally caught fish in federal waters off southern Texas, Sunday. Coast Guard Station South Padre Island boat crews in coordination with Coast Guard Sector Corpus Christi watch standers, Coast Guard Air Station Corpus Christi aircrews, and partner agencies located and stopped a total of 19 Mexican fishermen engaged in illegal fishing north of the Maritime Boundary Line. The following information is preliminary and subject to change; updates will provided as they become available. On Tuesday, November 26, at approximately 12:56 PM, a shooting occurred on the highway in the 2900 block of N. Bambrey Street. The victim, a 36-year-old Black male, sustained multiple gunshot wounds to his torso. Philadelphia Police transported him to Temple University Hospital, where he was pronounced deceased at 1:27 PM.
