With the Thanksgiving holiday rapidly approaching, the Jewish Federation of Greater Philadelphia’s Mitzvah Food Program is working to ensure that Philadelphia families in need can enjoy a Thanksgiving meal. This November, the Mitzvah Food Program will have delivered a total of 564 turkeys and chickens, totaling 4,408 pounds of poultry, to food insecure individuals and families. On Monday, November 25 from 12pm - 2pm, the Mitzvah Food Program will be distributing a portion of these turkeys to families and individuals at its Northeast pantry (10100 Jamison Avenue, Philadelphia, PA).

Burlington County Prosecutor LaChia L. Bradshaw announced that a 37-year-old man has been charged with killing his cellmate inside the Burlington County Jail in Mount Holly. Rondale Holloman, of Burlington Township, was charged with Murder (First Degree) in connection with the death of Kenneth Bulle, 74, of Mount Holly. The case will now be prepared for presentation to a grand jury for possible indictment.
