GLASSBORO, NJ - Ryan Cleary's second-half goal was the game winner as top-seeded and 12th-ranked Rowan defeated fourth-seeded Rutgers-Camden, 1-0, in the NJAC Men's Soccer Semifinal. The win vaults the Profs into the NJAC Championship game on Friday at 6 p.m., where they will host Stockton, which defeated Montclair State, 1-0, in the other semifinal.

The teams played a scoreless first half until the Profs broke through. Jason Barragan received a ball in the box and sent it to Johnny Troiano, who then found Cleary right in front of the net for a one-touch goal at 56:17. It was the eighth goal of the year for the senior co-captain, which is a career best.

Senior goalkeeper Dylan Aportela made four saves as Rutgers-Camden had a 13-10 advantage in shots. It marked the seventh straight shutout posted by Aportela.
Rowan (11-4-5) has now won seven in a row with seven consecutive shutouts. The last time the Profs allowed a goal was on October 9th.

The Profs, the NJAC regular-season champion are seeking their first conference tournament title since 2022.
