LTPD to unveil new HERO Campaign Vehicle at the start of Veterans Day Parade

Lower Township, NJ – Police Chief Kevin Lewis is proud to announce the unveiling of Lower Township Police Department’s new police vehicle dedicated to the John R. Elliot HERO Campaign. Chief Lewis stated, “We're proud to be part of such an important campaign that encourages sober driving, designated drivers, and alternate safe transportation options." Rowan's Palumbo, Herman and Gray Receive Top NJAC Field Hockey Awards

PITMAN, NJ – Rowan’s Allie Palumbo was named the NJAC Midfielder of the Year, Tess Herman was chosen the Defensive Player of the Year and Jenna Gray earned Rookie of the Year honors as the conference announced its post-season awards. Glassboro Homicide

On Sunday, November 3, 2024, at approximately 10:00 pm, Glassboro Police were dispatched to the railroad tracks in the area between the Glassboro High School and the Bowe Elementary School for the report of a deceased male. Upon arrival, officers discovered the male subject deceased from an apparent gunshot wound to his head. The victim was identified as Oscar Guerrier (age 27), from Glassboro, New Jersey. An autopsy conducted by the Gloucester County Medical Examiner determined that Guerrier suffered two (2) gunshot wounds, to the head and upper torso, and the manner of death was homicide. Man Sentenced to 27 Years for the Sexual Assaults of Two Juveniles

Camden, N.J. – A Pennsauken man was sentenced on Thursday to 27 years in New Jersey State Prison for the sexual assaults of two juvenile victims, announced Camden County Prosecutor Grace C. MacAulay and Pennsauken Police Chief Philip Olivo.
