William C. Davis May 31, 1925 - October 6, 2024

DavisVineland – formerly of Merchantville, Brooklawn and Pennsauken. On October 6, 2024, Age 99. Loving husband of 51 years to the late Jane L. Davis (nee Molt). Devoted father of Gail (late Ronald, Sr.) McNabb and Dominick (late Barbara) Tursi. Cherished grandfather of Dr. Ronald (Rebekah) McNabb, Jr. and Kelly (Paul) Atkinson. Beloved great-grandfather of Xander and Noah.

William was known to many as “Bodie” and was born in Camden City. He
was a graduate of Merchantville High School Class of 1943. William enlisted on May 29, 1943 in the United States Marine Corps. and was honorably discharged on June 18, 1946. He was a proud to attain the rank of Corporal. Bodie was a dedicated truck driver for 41 years for Shanahan Trucking in Merchantville. He was a resident of Brooklawn from 1953 – 2003 then moved to Pennsauken and was a resident from 2003 to 2017. For the past 7 years, Bodie was a resident of the New Jersey Veterans Memorial Home in Vineland.

Relatives and friends are invited on Monday, October 14, 2024 from 10 am to 11 am at McCann-Healey Funeral Home: 851 Monmouth Street, Gloucester City. Service 11 am in the funeral home. Interment and U.S. Marine Corps. Military Honors at Lakeview Memorial Park in Cinnaminson.
